Bill Jones - Martin, TN
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: (Adults, Small Fry, Junior Junior, Junior, and Twin Fiddling Round 1)

Bill was born in Nashville TN in July of 1983. He started playing violin/fiddle at age 10 in the middle school strings program. A short time later, he broke off into the fiddle world. Bill has taken fiddle lessons from many great fiddle players in Nashville including: Crystal Plohman, Lorretta Brank, Luke Bulla, and Daniel Carwile. Orchestra played a major role through high school and he received a violin scholarship to Tennessee Technological University. Bill earned both his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering and his Master's Degree in Business Administration from Tennessee Tech. Currently Bill works for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Union City, TN, as the acting Technical Team Leader for Division A2. His hobbies other than fiddling are hunting and fishing.

Judging Philosophy:
 
When I judge I mainly look for the following:
Breakdown needs good groove, confidence and drive, the Waltz needs passionate phrasing and double stops, and the Tune of Choice needs a good groove.
